2024: Teaser

Brief: The "Teaser" studio invites students to explore the art of animation through a structured series of assignments that focus on form abstraction, animatic creation, and teaser trailer development. Over the course of 12 weeks, students will begin by simplifying and deconstructing references into basic shapes, emphasising composition, lighting, and detail. This foundational work is followed by the creation of a 30-second animatic, incorporating various shot types and experimenting with techniques or styles of interest. The culmination of the studio is the production of a polished teaser trailer based on their animatic, including sound design and collaborative efforts.

This studio was delivered as part the Bachelor of Design (Animation) at RMIT University.
